KCFB Scholarship Committee
The Kings County Farm Bureau Scholarship Committee awards scholarships each year to Kings County students graduating from high school. Students must plan to attend either a two or four year college with an agricultural major. CFBF Scholarship Foundation
The California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation provides approximately $75,000 in academic scholarships each year. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, career goals, extracurricular activities, determination and a demonstration of leadership skills. To qualify for consideration, the applicant must be preparing for a career in the agricultural industry, attend a four-year school in California and be a resident of the State of California. Memorial donations to the Foundation are gratefully accepted.

KCFB/4-H Photography Contest
This contest is open to all Kings County 4-H members, with cash prizes to the member of: 1st - $75.00, 2nd - $50.00, 3rd - $25.00. Contest photos should depict agriculture (farm people, rural scene, agricultural commodity from within Kings County). The contest is for color prints only. While they need not be mounted, prints must be 8" x 10" or larger. Each photo must include a 3" x 5" card bearing the 4-H club name, photographers' name, address, phone number and age (please attach to the back of the photo). One photo per member. Winning photos will be determined by the Kings County Farm Bureau. The winning photos will be announced and displayed in the KCFB booth at the Kings Fair. The first, second and third place photos will become the property of the Kings County Farm Bureau.
