Boos & Associates Builds Income
As experts in the recovery of past, present and future taxes, the staff at Boos & Associates diligently analyze changing tax codes to provide the best advice to their clients. Besides tax and accounting work, the company offers business management consulting and payroll services.
“We’re a one stop firm to meet the accounting, payroll and tax needs of business clients,” said Managing Director Wayne Boos and owner of the firm. “We also help individuals file tax returns that encompass the most complex to EZ forms.”
Boos founded the firm in 2004. Since opening, Boos has hired a number of professionals to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing technological world and the evolving needs of his clients. The Business Journal’s 2010 Book of Lists, which highlights a number of categories in the Central San Joaquin Valley, ranked Boos & Associates as first in business management consultants, the third fastest growing company, ninth in accounting firms and 10th in payroll companies. This January also marked a change in the company’s name. It is now known as Boos & Associates, a Professional Corporation – after recently incorporating in the State of California. Besides California, Boos is also a CPA and does business in Nevada.
Boos’ extensive background ensures clients that they can entrust their business in his care. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from California State University, Fresno. After graduating, Boos worked many years in public accounting and private industry. He also believes in the importance of maintaining professional contacts with peers. To stay current on new regulations, laws and issues he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Management Accountants.
Before deciding to create his own firm, Boos gained valuable experience working as a Director for one of the Valley’s largest CPA firms. He took on the challenge of creating his own mark to move forward professionally.
“I wanted to focus more on clients instead of the administrative side of business and it blossomed from there,” he said.
The specialties he personally offers clients include designing creative tax strategies and ideas for both privately owned and publicly held companies and expertise in tax compliance and provision engagements for large global companies with complex tax issues.
Besides managing the firm, Boos also provides tax and accounting services to a select group of clients. He has recent SEC experience and significant experience with taxation and planning for publicly held corporations, closely held business owners and high net worth individuals.
Boos considers his firm primarily as a consulting firm that focuses on companies and family businesses that service the Valley.
